We are looking for an extremely organized, friendly, and handy Maintenance Technician/Assistant Manager to join our team. Experience in light maintenance, grounds keeping preferred.

Essential Job Functions Include:

*Respond to requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore storage units within the quality and time standards established by the organization. *Participate in the make-ready of vacant units. *Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the properties by ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, market ready units, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris, trash, graffiti, and other items which affect the overall appearance. All deficiencies and or risk management safety issues are reported immediately. *Ensure that units are ready for occupancy by performing various and as needed light electrical, carpentry, flooring, and other miscellaneous equipment and property maintenance and repairs. Make-ready also includes painting the, and overall unit cleaning or other activities, as necessary. *Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary and assist in stocking the inventory. *Be available for rotating on-call. *Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Assist managers in the office to help with customer payments, unit rentals, and other miscellaneous office duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

*Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and as part of a team. *Must provide excellent customer service with every interaction. *Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel to multiple sites as needed.
