Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Manager / Maintenance Person / Groundskeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Assistant Manager / Maintenance Person / Groundskeeper. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities, and preserving the impeccable appearance of the grounds. This position requires the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the manager with various administrative tasks,

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the property manager or corporate leadership.

- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

- Grounds maintenance, cleaning storage units, hallways, driveways and other areas of the property as needed.

- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

- Respond to customer needs and requests promptly, prioritizing urgent matters and completing tasks in a timely manner.

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols when performing maintenance tasks or operating equipment.

- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with tenants, staff, and the community.

- Other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

 Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential or commercial property management setting.

- Proficient with basic tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance work.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and cleanliness.

- Availability to work all weekends on a regular basis.
